MEP Commercial Manager - Contracting

We are looking for an experienced MEP Commercial Manager to join a leading MEP contracting business in the UAE and oversee the commercial management of major, high-value projects.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP/electromechanical contracting, with proven experience managing the full commercial lifecycle of complex projects, from tendering and contract negotiation through to final accounts.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management of large-scale MEP projects from tender to final account.Manage contracts, variations, claims, valuations, and commercial negotiations.Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and profitability.Oversee subcontractor and supplier agreements, payments, and procurement-related commercial matters.Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.Manage and mentor commercial/QS teams across multiple projects.Ensure compliance with FIDIC, contractual obligations, and company procedures.Collaborate with project teams, clients, consultants, and main contractors to achieve commercial objectives.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in MEP/electromechanical contracting, with strong commercial management expertise.Proven experience delivering large-scale, high-value projects.Strong knowledge of FIDIC, contracts, variations, claims, valuations, procurement, and final accounts.Experience managing commercial teams and multiple projects simultaneously.Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.If you have a strong background in MEP contracting and are looking for an opportunity to apply your technical expertise, commercial leadership, and focus on project profitability, we’d love to hear from you!
