MEP Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our MEP supervision team for construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring electrical installations to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.The role requires close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure quality workmanship, timely inspections, and successful testing and commissioning of electrical systems.RequirementsConduct routine inspections of electrical installations including:HV & LV SystemsPower Distribution SystemsLighting SystemsFire Alarm SystemsEmergency LightingUPS & Generator SystemsLow Current Systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA Systems)Review Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections in a timely mannerVerify installations against approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and authority requirementsIdentify non-conforming works and issue observations/NCRs where requiredMonitor material approvals, deliveries, and installation qualityMaintain inspection records, daily reports, and quality documentationCoordinate with contractors and other disciplines to resolve site issuesWitness testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activitiesSupport senior engineers in reviewing electrical submittals and technical documentationQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical EngineeringMinimum 5-8 years of UAE experience in electrical inspection and supervisionMandatory experience on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projectsExperience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developmentsSkillsStrong knowledge of electrical inspection proceduresFamiliarity with DEWA, DM, and DCD requirementsAbility to interpret electrical drawings and specificationsStrong reporting and communication skillsProficiency in quality control and inspection documentationBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePerformance BonusAnnual air ticket allowance Why Join IRTH Group?At IRTH Group, we're not just a company; we're a family committed to building a brighter future together.
