MEP Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP supervision team for construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring mechanical installations to ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), Dubai Civil Defence (DCD), project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable international standards.The role will support project delivery through effective quality control, site inspections, testing verification, and coordination with contractors and consultants.RequirementsConduct routine inspections of mechanical systems including:HVAC SystemsChilled Water SystemsVentilation SystemsPlumbing & Drainage SystemsWater Supply SystemsFire Fighting SystemsLPG Systems (where applicable)Pump Rooms and Mechanical EquipmentReview Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections promptlyVerify compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and method statementsMonitor installation quality and identify non-conforming worksRaise observations and NCRs and monitor corrective actionsMaintain inspection records, reports, and quality documentationCoordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teamsWitness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing, and commissioning activitiesSupport review of material submittals and mechanical technical documentationQualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 5-8 years of UAE experience in mechanical inspection and supervisionMandatory experience on Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulated projectsExperience in hospitality, residential high-rise, commercial, or mixed-use developmentsSkillsStrong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting SystemsKnowledge of DM, DCD, and local authority inspection proceduresAbility to review mechanical drawings and specificationsStrong reporting and documentation skillsExcellent coordination and communication abilitiesBenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePerformance BonusAnnual air ticket allowance Why Join IRTH Group?At IRTH Group, we're not just a company; we're a family committed to building a brighter future together.
