Network Security Engineer - Financial Services, Dublin 2Our client is a global Financial Institution, with its Dublin base managing acting as European hub for various subsidiaries. They have engaged us to speak to Network Security Engineers with broad skills across Networks, Firewalls, Servers and Threat Analysis to join their growing team in Dublin 2.The role:Join the existing team of Security Engineers to configure and upgrade network infrastructure as well as firewall maintenance, load balancing issues and DNS Manage ongoing upgrades across routers/switches and configuration issuesAct as part of the Threat Analysis and Prioritisation team, scanning and ticketingWork across Windows and Linux platforms, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities Take responsibility for all related documentation Participate in on call troubleshooting rotation when required

Requirements

5+ years of hands on commercial experience within a regulated industryCisco Certifications advantageous alongside network upgrade experienceProven track record of vulnerability assessment and related actionsCross platform knowledge (Windows/Linux)Automation tools, including Python/Bash/PowerShellExceptional communication skillsPlease note we can only accept applications from candidates eligible to work in the EU.
