Planning Director – Data Centre DeveloperAED: 90K - 95K per monthAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning Director to join one of the world's leading data centre developers, delivering major Hyperscale data centres for AI technology.With an impressive portfolio of projects across the globe, this is an opportunity to join a scaling developer at an exciting stage growth.You will take a senior leadership role, overseeing planning across hyperscale data centre developments and provide direction across design, procurement and construction programmes.We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have a strong background in main contracting or EPC, with substantial experience delivering complex commercial fit-out projects.Data centre or mission-critical experience would be advantageous, although it is not essential. Strong fit-out experience and the ability to manage complex construction programmes are the priority.Key ResponsibilitiesLead planning and scheduling across a portfolio of large-scale data centre developments.Oversee programme development across design, procurement, construction and project delivery.Take ownership of planning from early pre-construction stages through to completion.Work closely with project teams, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders to ensure programmes are realistic, achievable and effectively managed.Provide leadership, guidance and support to planning teams across multiple projects.Establish and implement robust planning processes, procedures and reporting structures.Identify programme risks, monitor progress and drive mitigation strategies to protect project delivery. Background RequiredExtensive experience in planning and project controls within a main contracting or EPC environment at Director level.Strong experience delivering large-scale commercial fit-out and complex construction projects.Experience leading planning functions and managing programmes across multiple projects.Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, construction sequencing and programme management.Proficiency in Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project.Location & RelocationCandidates already based in the UAE would be ideally suited to this opportunity.However, we are also keen to hear from experienced Planning Directors currently working within the UK construction market who are considering an international move.For the right candidate, full relocation support and visa sponsorship will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to relocate to Dubai and take on a senior role within a rapidly expanding international business.
