Process Engineer

We are seeking a Process Engineer - Production to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our manufacturing processes, the role is responsible for driving process optimization, yield improvement, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance, product quality, and overall business results.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive process performance, operational efficiency, and yield improvement through the evaluation, optimization, and enhancement of manufacturing processes.Utilize process and production data to identify trends, optimize operating conditions, and maximize yield, productivity, and overall plant performance.Lead investigations into process deviations and product quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, and HSE to support reliable and efficient plant operations.Contribute to process safety, risk management, and Management of Change initiatives while promoting operational excellence and best practices.Establish, review, and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, and technical standards to ensure safe and consistent operations.Lead and support continuous improvement, debottlenecking, capacity enhancement, and capital project initiatives to improve plant reliability and business performance.Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements while supporting sustainable manufacturing practices.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.4-7 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment such as chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, or process industries.Strong understanding of chemical process operations, process optimization, and yield improvement methodologies.Experience in process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Knowledge of Process Safety Management, Management of Change, risk assessments, and operational excellence practices.Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies is an advantage.Familiarity with process control systems and process performance monitoring tools.Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.CompetenciesContinuous improvement and results-oriented approach.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Strong technical, organizational, and project management capabilities.Ability to drive improvements independently and through cross-functional teams.How to ApplyInterested candidates who meet the above qualifications are invited to submit their updated CV to ahmed.mahfouz@birlacarbon.com with the subject line "Process Engineer".
