LLC is a Dubai-based supplier of drainage solutions, access covers, flooring systems, plumbing accessories, and custom-fabricated products serving contractors, consultants, facility management teams, and developers across the UAE and GCC. The company provides a wide range of stainless steel, nickel bronze, aluminium, GRP, and PVC products, including floor drains, manhole covers, raised flooring pedestals, and specialty plumbing components. Alphatek also delivers custom fabrication based on client drawings and site dimensions, supported by detailed shop drawings for consultant approval. The team works on diverse projects such as hotels, towers, villas, malls, infrastructure, and industrial developments, offering technical advice, fast quotations, and reliable delivery across the region.Role Description The Product Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and improving drainage products, access covers, flooring systems, and related building materials to meet project and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting technical research, creating and reviewing product drawings, collaborating with fabrication teams, and ensuring products comply with relevant standards and consultant specifications. The engineer will coordinate with sales, operations, and project teams to evaluate client BOQs and drawings, provide technical support, and optimize product performance, cost, and manufacturability. The role also involves testing prototypes, analyzing product performance data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across Alphatek’s product portfolio.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to evaluate product performance, interpret technical data, and support design decisions.Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) skills to investigate new materials, technologies, and design approaches for building and drainage products.Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to apply engineering principles, perform basic calculations, and understand structural and fluid-related considerations.Candidates should possess Product Development skills to manage the lifecycle from concept to prototype, testing, refinement, and production release.Candidates should possess Product Design skills to create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications aligned with client and consultant requirements.Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.Experience in building materials, drainage systems, metal fabrication, or construction projects in the UAE/GCC is highly beneficial.Additional desirable skills include proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), knowledge of relevant standards and codes, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
