Key Responsibilities

1. Design 3D models for miniaturized medical device enclosures, precision lens mounts, and handheld imaging probes using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360).2. Perform 3D printing of mechanical components and custom probe housings. Iteratively refine designs for clinical ergonomics, heat dissipation, and structural integrity.3. Assemble custom mechanical housings with optical components (such as C-mount/S-mount lenses, polarization filters, and LED arrays) and imaging sensors. Perform high-precision optomechanical alignment.4. Liaise with specialized external fabrication facilities, PCB manufacturers, and industry partners to source materials and outsource high-precision, medical-grade manufacturing when required.5. Conduct structural, thermal, and durability testing on prototyped diagnostic instruments to ensure they are robust enough for real-world clinical environments.6.
