Quality Assurance Engineer - Intern

While keeping the focus on Fin-Tech, the company wants people to trust and enjoy the convenience of digital technology and disrupt the payment processes in the country and around the world.We're looking for a self motivated and a talented individual who aligns with the following profile to join our team.ResponsibilitiesKeen to learn about test automation.Prepare testing documents after reviewing relevant requirements, specifications, and technical documents.Provide timely and meaningful feedback.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test estimations and plans.Identify, track, and log issues.Perform regression testing when issues are fixed.Collaborate with the team—including developers and the project manager—to identify product requirements.Suggest improvements to make the product more user-friendly.Work with both software and hardware testing.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), or currently pursuing a degree.Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.Familiarity with manual testing; exposure to automated testing tools is a plus.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, team-oriented environment.Proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn in a fast-paced tech setting.A portfolio or academic/personal projects demonstrating an interest in quality assurance is advantageous.Apply today & join us to embark on an exciting journey into the world of FinTech!careers@paymedia.lk210, Havelock Road, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka.www.paymedia.lk
