Location: Andheri, MumbaiJob SummaryWe are looking for a Lead QA to drive quality assurance activities across web, mobile, API, and backend systems.

The ideal candidate will lead QA strategy, mentor team members, and ensure high-quality deliverables through effective test planning, automation, and process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end QA strategy, planning, and executionDefine test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for web, API, and backend applicationsReview and approve test deliverables (test cases, automation scripts, reports)Drive test automation strategy for UI and APIPerform and guide API testing (REST, Postman, Swagger, REST Assured)Oversee web/mobile automation testing (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress) on cloud like browserstack/lambda test .Ensure defect tracking, triage, and root cause analysisCoordinate with Product, Development, and DevOps teamsValidate non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability)Ensure quality in CI/CD pipelinesMonitor test metrics and KPIsMentor and guide QA team membersParticipate in release sign-offsTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of QA processes & methodologiesExcellent hands-on experience in Java/Python/JavascriptExpertise in Web Automation (Selenium / Playwright / Cypress) amd Mobile(Appium)Strong experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured, Swagger)Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber)Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL)Experience in performance testing (JMeter / Gatling – good to have)Understanding of security testing basics (OWASP)Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong team leadership and mentoring skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to drive quality ownership across teamsExperience working in Agile / Scrum environmentsProactive problem-solving mindsetNice to Have(optional)Experience in microservices architectureKnowledge of Docker/KubernetesExposure to cross-zone load balancing & cloud networkingISTQB or equivalent certification
