Reinsurance Manager

We are looking for an experienced Reinsurance Manager to lead and oversee reinsurance operations in Life and Nonlife and support the company’s strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Negotiate and organize reinsurance treaties in coordination with the General Manager.Ensure accurate reinsurance data and treaty parameters on the system.Maintain strong relationships with local and international reinsurers and reinsurance brokers.Coordinate facultative reinsurance placements, including retention levels, terms, and conditions.Prepare and oversee reinsurance reports for management and the Board, and support financial reporting and regulatory submissions.Monitor portfolio performance, loss ratios, and risk exposures to support profitability and effective risk management.Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) reinsurance regulations. Oversee the daily operations, performance, and development of the Reinsurance Department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, risk management, or any related fields.Professional certifications in insurance or reinsurance are preferred.A minimum of 10 years of experience in Reinsurance, including 2 years in a managerial role.Experience dealing with local and international reinsurance markets and brokers.Excellent communication, relationship management, and reporting abilities.
