Senior Accountant

Job Description Kingdom travel services is now hiring : Senior accountant 3:4 years of exp. Role : The Senior Accountant role at Kingdom Travel Services is a full-time, on-site position. The Senior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, and strong command of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS), Egyptian tax laws, B2B corporate transactions, and local banking operations. 1. Egyptian accounting operations for Corporate & General Accounting Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions in compliance with Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS). Maintain, review, and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts, sub-ledgers, and trial balances to ensure financial data integrity. Ensure strict adherence to local Egyptian tax regulations, including VAT Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, and integration with the ETA E-Invoicing / E-Receipt portal. 2. B2B Corporate Operations handling Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles for corporate clients and suppliers. Review and process B2B invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, and payment terms. Conduct regular reconciliation of customer and vendor balances to resolve discrepancies promptly. 3 . Banking & Treasury Operations Handle day-to-day banking relationships and local Egyptian bank accounts. Perform timely monthly bank reconciliations (EGP and foreign currency accounts). Prepare bank transfer requests, check issuances, and track documentary credits (Letters of Credit / Letters of Guarantee - LCs/LGs) where applicable. 4. Annual & Periodical Financial Closing Manage and execute the annual accounting year-end closure process. Prepare year-end adjusting entries, accrued/prepaid expense schedules, fixed asset depreciation schedules, and provisions. Assist in drafting complete Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) for internal management and external auditors. Liaise with external tax advisors and financial auditors during annual audit reviews. 5.Cash & Expense Control: Custody and administration of multi-currency petty cash floats

• Review, auditing, and coding of employee expense reports and travel claims
• Verification of legal tax receipts for petty cash reimbursement
• Periodic physical cash counts, reconciliations, and replenishment. Job Requirements Tech skills required: A) audit Readiness. B) Reconciliation and variance analysis. C) E-Government adaptation.
