If you enjoy getting into the detail while seeing how your work influences the bigger picture, this role offers a compelling next move.The opportunityYou’ll help deliver accurate, timely financial information while strengthening the way finance operates as the business scales. Your remit will include:Taking ownership of key accounting activities, reconciliations and month-end close.Preparing financial reporting and supporting statutory accounts under HGB.Working with auditors, tax advisers and internal stakeholders.Improving controls, streamlining processes and identifying opportunities for automation.Partnering with the wider finance team to build an accounting function that keeps pace with rapid growth.What you’ll bringYou’re an experienced accountant who combines technical rigour with a practical, proactive approach. You take pride in getting the numbers right and enjoy making the process better.We’re looking for:Strong financial accounting experience and sound knowledge of HGB.Confidence managing month end responsibilities and supporting year-end reporting.The curiosity to challenge existing processes and the initiative to improve them.Experience within software, technology or a PE backed business would be particularly valuable.
