Senior Application Support Engineer

We’re Hiring | Senior Application Support EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Senior Application Support Engineer to join our IT team and ensure the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications while supporting daily operations and continuous system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise applications to ensure system availability and optimal performance.Manage and resolve application incidents and problems in accordance with established SLAs.Perform application performance tuning, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.Monitor and maintain application integrations, interfaces, and legacy systems to ensure seamless data exchange.Coordinate application upgrades, patches, releases, and system enhancements.Collaborate with infrastructure, database, development teams, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.Maintain system documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.Monitor and report on application availability, capacity, performance KPIs, and SLAs.Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards.Support business-critical applications and ensure operational continuity, including 24/7 support when required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support, including at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and application performance monitoring skills.Experience in incident management, application maintenance, system integrations, and production support.Familiarity with third-party APIs and application integrations within the banking or financial services sector.Understanding of IT service management processes and SLAs.Knowledge of Retail or Corporate Lending systems and business processes is preferred.Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
