Senior Automation Engineer - Emerson

Key Responsibilities Perform system engineering and application development for Emerson DeltaV and/or Ovation DCS projects. Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities. Configure, maintain, and optimize DCS and control systems. Support system upgrades, migrations, and integration activities. Troubleshoot technical issues related to control systems and industrial communication networks. Ensure successful project execution in coordination with internal teams and customers. Provide technical support during onsite project implementation and commissioning activities. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline. 3–6 years of experience in Industrial Automation Systems. Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV and/or Ovation DCS. Experience in system engineering, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities. Knowledge of industrial networking and cybersecurity fundamentals. Ability to support system upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting activities. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and control philosophies. Experience in power, water, oil & gas, or industrial automation projects. Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills. Good command of English. Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally based on project requirements.
