Senior Business Analyst

Your new companyHays is partnering with a well-established organisation with a significant operational footprint across Australia. They are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Information Technology team and support major business systems transformation and improvement initiatives on a permanent basis.Your new roleReporting to the General Manager – Business Applications APAC, you will work closely with business leaders, system owners, end users and technical teams to identify requirements and deliver technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.Your responsibilities will include:Gathering, analysing and documenting business, operational and system requirementsFacilitating workshops and design sessions with key stakeholdersReviewing existing systems and processes and identifying improvement opportunitiesDeveloping business cases, process maps, system specifications and design documentationSupporting the design, development, testing and deployment of system enhancementsCoordinating UAT, implementation and post-deployment supportWorking with project and technical teams to deliver system improvement initiativesDelivering end-user training, documentation and change support.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:A minimum of 5 years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis or a similar roleStrong hands-on Oracle HCM setup experience, which is essentialExtensive user knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Oracle HRIS and UKG KronosExperience delivering major business systems transformation and implementation projectsStrong requirements elicitation, documentation, testing and process improvement capabilityExcellent stakeholder management and project coordination skillsExperience developing and delivering user training and supporting organisational changeStrong process mapping, business requirements documentation and systems modelling experiencePayroll systems and workflow experience will be highly advantageousExposure to hospitality, food services, food production or food safety systems will also be highly regarded.A Degree or Diploma in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline is also required.What you'll get in returnThis is an excellent opportunity to join a large operational organisation and take ownership of meaningful business systems improvement initiatives.
