Senior Executive Assistant – Chairman

This is a senior level position working within the offices of highly respected UAE business leader. As part of the C-Suite support team, this is a multi-faceted role supporting across a plethora of activities, which include the corporate business, private office investment strategy and encompasses philanthropic oversight. This really is the role for the adventurous and highly committed individual. No day will be the same and you will be completely immersed in the corporate and private business management of this highly dynamic Principal. You will need to be prepared for every eventuality, ranging from last minute changes in schedules to on-the-spot event glitches, to high-spec presentations within minutes, complex multi-leg travel itineraries and significant stakeholder engagement. Above all, the role demands core business understanding as you will be involved with senior level meetings with various group CEO’s, across the broad spectrum of companies within the group, private investment and corporate banks, internal and external legal counsel, and UHNWI’s. This role supports a principal at the top of his career. He is a dedicated and highly energetic gentleman, whose life runs at 100 miles an hour, and as his assistant you need to be always one step ahead of him and have an awareness of international operations. As the gatekeeper to his office, you will interact closely with other team members and strategic partners on key tasks and projects. You will support him on the move, managing all travel arrangements, by working with commercial and private aircraft partners globally. You will attend meetings and events on his behalf and proactively manage his time using your expert judgement. There is a very strong administrative element to the role, including writing briefs and speeches, creating complex presentations, and managing internal and external communication, as well as tracking investments across the group. Additionally, research, analysis and project management play a large part in the role, as you will be required to participate in organization-wide projects that require additional strategic support in collection and assimilation of data, feasibility analysis support and you will attend operational, project and program-related meetings, to capture information and provide accurate reports in your briefs to the Board. Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in performing critical support roles, across a wide scope. A strong commitment to delivering excellence, demonstrating good judgement, and understanding the importance of anticipating and proactively supporting needs is required. Our client is specifically seeking candidates who have had previous experience at this level, managing and assisting with Board, interacting at the highest C-Suite levels across an international platform, and who has worked across a large matrix structure. Candidates will possess English as a first language and ideally be degree educated from a recognised US / European University. Our client expects the highest levels of presentation and professionalism. A sense of humour and the willingness to do ‘whatever its takes’ is vital, plus candidates at this level will appreciate that there are no ‘set hours’ in a role at this level. However, this is a partnership and loyalty, and commitment are highly valued by our client and are rewarded as such.
