Senior Executive Manager – Audit Analytics

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Executive Manager to lead data analytics and continuous auditing initiatives within the Internal Audit function. This role will help transform audit delivery through advanced analytics, automation, and data-driven assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end continuous auditing and data analytics initiatives, from requirements gathering and data extraction through testing, analysis, reporting, and closure.Develop analytical methodologies to identify emerging risks, control weaknesses, anomalies, trends, and exceptions.Use SAS to independently extract, reconcile, and analyze large, complex datasets.Translate business processes, risk scenarios, policies, and controls into analytical logic and testing procedures.Investigate exceptions, conduct root-cause analysis, and distinguish genuine control issues from data-quality or process-related matters.Support audit engagements by identifying higher-risk populations and strengthening audit coverage.Engage with business, IT, Risk, and Audit stakeholders to understand processes, validate findings, and communicate insights.Enhance continuous auditing tools, automated analytics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.Ensure analytical solutions are documented, validated, repeatable, and supported by appropriate governance and quality controls.Coach junior team members and contribute to the development of the Internal Audit function.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.Around 8 years of relevant experience in data analytics, enterprise risk, assurance, financial analytics, model monitoring, or a similar area.Advanced, hands-on experience with SAS Enterprise and/or SAS Viya, including independent analysis of large, complex datasets.Strong understanding of risk, controls, testing, monitoring, and assurance concepts.Proven ability to lead complex analytical initiatives and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in English and Arabic.Experience in a regulated or complex organization is preferred.Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python, data visualization, or automation is an advantage.A relevant master’s degree or professional certification (such as CISA, CMA, CPA, or CRMA) is an advantage.
