Senior HSE Officer

Our portfolio spans Dubai’s prime residential, hospitality, and commercial developments, reflecting our commitment to transparency, customer centricity, quality, integrity, and value creation through a construction-driven approach.With some of our exciting launches such as Burj Azizi (the second tallest tower in the world), Monaco Mansions and Azizi Venice – Dubai’s new luxurious Venetian-inspired waterfront community, we are rapidly expanding our onsite HSE team based at Burj Azizi in Dubai.As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures throughout all phases of construction. You will ensure that all site activities comply with approved HSE plans, UAE regulatory requirements, and applicable safety standards. The ideal candidate must have mandatory experience in 50+ floor high-rise tower construction projects in Dubai, with strong knowledge of construction safety practices, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans in accordance with project requirements.Ensure construction activities comply with UAE HSE regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and applicable safety standards.Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.Review Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analyses, Method Statements, and Permit-to-Work documentation.Monitor high-risk activities, including work at height, lifting operations, scaffolding, temporary works, and other high-rise construction activities.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors.Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with project safety requirements.Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident logs, and statutory documentation.Coordinate with project management, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on HSE-related matters.Monitor HSE performance and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.Support emergency preparedness, conduct safety drills, and promote a strong safety culture across the project.RequirementsBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the construction industry.Mandatory experience on high-rise tower construction projects exceeding 50 floors.UAE construction experience is mandatory.NEBOSH certification is mandatory; IOSH certification will be an advantage.Strong knowledge of UAE construction safety regulations and Dubai Municipality requirements.Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits.Ability to review method statements, risk assessments, and HSE documentation.Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
