Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support Fit-Out and MEP projects, ensuring effective coordination, technical compliance, quality execution, and timely completion of projects.📍 Location: DIFC, Dubai💼 Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor tenant, event and DIFC project-related Fit-Out requests received through the portal or email.Ensure Fit-Out projects are completed within agreed project timelines.Review technical drawings and coordinate with contractors to clarify review comments and required modifications.Monitor authority design approvals and inspection approvals throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct feasibility studies for MEP provision upgrades based on tenant requirements, existing site conditions and available capacities.Coordinate with the FM team for CHW isolation and air-balancing activities.Coordinate notifications with affected tenants during CHW isolation works.Guide site inspectors and contractors during project execution.Conduct regular site inspections and recommend appropriate corrective measures.Witness CHW and fire-fighting pressure tests, air balancing and other relevant testing activities.Conduct first-fix inspections and provide technical feedback prior to false-ceiling closure.Conduct final inspections and verify the proper functionality of building services before final approval.Coordinate with base-build and Fire & Life Safety contractors to support smooth project execution.Verify authority-approved drawings and ensure works are aligned with approved requirements.Witness Testing & Commissioning, including Life Safety Systems, and verify completed works.Review contractors’ method statements for TVR/modification works.Coordinate inspection schedules and close first and final inspection checklists through the project portal.Escalate non-standard works or trade-related technical issues to the relevant engineers.Notify the QHSE team of unsafe works or site practices.Coordinate with the BMS team for utility meter commissioning.Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality, reliability and client satisfaction throughout project delivery.Candidate Profile:We are looking for a technically strong Mechanical Engineer with hands-on exposure to:✅ Fit-Out & MEP Projects✅ Mechanical Building Services✅ CHW Systems & Isolation✅ HVAC & Air Balancing✅ Fire-Fighting Systems✅ Testing & Commissioning✅ First Fix & Final Inspections✅ Authority Approvals & Drawing Review✅ Method Statement Review✅ BMS / Utility Meter Coordination✅ Contractor & FM Coordination✅ QHSE and Site ComplianceExperience within commercial buildings, high-rise developments, mixed-use properties or Facilities Management environments would be highly relevant.📩 Interested?Qualified candidates may apply through LinkedIn or share their updated CV with the recruitment team.Please mention “Senior Mechanical Engineer” in your application.#Hiring #SeniorMechanicalEngineer #MechanicalEngineer #MEP #MEPEngineer #FitOut #FitOutProjects #HVAC #CHW #TestingAndCommissioning #FireFighting #BMS #FacilitiesManagement #FacilityManagement #EngineeringJobs #DubaiJobs #DIFC #UAEJobs #HiringInDubai
