Senior Systems & Virtualization Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi or Dubai, United Arab EmiratesDescriptionResponsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, operating systems, and related infrastructure services.

The role involves ensuring system availability, performance, security, and reliability while supporting infrastructure upgrades, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and disaster recovery initiatives.QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of relevant experience in systems administration, systems engineering, and virtualization within an enterprise environment.Strong experience with server infrastructure, virtualization technologies, operating systems, and enterprise infrastructure management.Knowledge of system monitoring, performance optimization, backup and recovery, security hardening, and troubleshooting.Relevant industry certifications in systems administration, virtualization, or infrastructure technologies.Visa and Independent Contractor EligibilityCandidates with existing UAE residency or independent work arrangements are preferred, particularly those who have:A valid UAE Golden Visa, subject to applicable work authorization requirements.A valid freelance visa or license.A valid business or trade license that permits the proposed consulting or contracting activity.UAE residency through a spouse or family sponsorship, provided the candidate can obtain any additional work authorization required.
