Yodeck is now in the top 5 of digital signage SaaS platforms in the world, and we are looking for curious and smart people to drive even faster!About The RoleYodeck is hiring a Content Writer & Editor to join our in-house SEO team in Athens. You will spend most of your day-to-day writing and editing B2B SaaS content: blog posts, solution pages, comparison pages and product explainers about digital signage. The rest of your time goes to SEO and GEO work: on-page optimization, search intent and AI search visibility, both applying what you know and picking up more as you go.This is a writing role first. You don't need to be an SEO expert to apply. If you are a strong writer who is curious about how search and AI discovery work, we want to hear from you.We use AI tools across research, outlining and editing. Your value is in the judgement those tools do not have: knowing what a busy professional actually needs to read, catching the sentence that is technically wrong, and cutting the paragraph that sounds like every other SaaS blog.ResponsibilitiesWrite long-form blog posts, solution pages, comparison pages and product explainers using SEO briefs. Rewrite and refresh existing posts that have lost traffic, keeping what ranks and fixing what doesn'tEdit drafts for accuracy, structure, tone and readability. You will be the last line between a draft and a published pagePublish and format content in WordPress, while optimizing headings, internal links, images, FAQs and metadataFact-check product claims against the Yodeck platform and documentation, and sync with Product or Support teams when something is unclearContribute to GEO work: content that earns citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, plus adapting content for LinkedIn and YouTubeLearn things on the SEO side: keyword research in Ahrefs, SERP analysis, Google Search Console, AI visibility tracking in Peec AIOccasionally write guest posts and contributed articles for our digital PR initiativesRequirementsMust haveExcellent written English. You write and edit clearly, and you can explain a technical setup to a non-technical reader without dumbing it down2+ years of writing or editing for a business audience: B2B content, product marketing, technical writing, journalism, or a similar background. A portfolio of published work you are proud ofComfort with technical subject matter. Our product is software plus hardware, so you'll write about how things work. You do not need to be an engineer, but you need to enjoy figuring out how things work and be able to follow product documentationWorking knowledge of SEO basics: what a keyword is, why search intent matters, what a title tag and an internal link do. Enough to write with SEO in mind, not to run an auditFamiliarity with AI writing tools and a clear opinion on where they help and where they fail. You can spot generic AI phrasing and rewrite it in a natural, human voiceReliability. You manage your own pipeline, give realistic estimates, hit deadlines and QA your own work before it goes liveGenuine interest in learning SEO and GEO.
