Role Description The Service Manager (Automotive Manufacturing & Thermal Management Solutions) is a full-time, on-site role based in United Arab Emirates. This role oversees the service operations for automotive air-conditioning and transport refrigeration systems, ensuring high-quality maintenance, repair, and support for customers across urban transport and cold chain segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing service teams and technicians, planning and coordinating service schedules, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to OEM standards and safety regulations. The Service Manager will collaborate with engineering, sales, and operations to address technical issues, improve service processes, and support product reliability in the field. The role also involves handling customer escalations, providing technical guidance, preparing service reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system optimization and energy efficiency.QualificationsStrong technical knowledge in automotive air-conditioning, transport refrigeration, and thermal management systems, with experience in commercial vehicles or related manufacturing environments.Proven service operations management skills, including team leadership, scheduling, workflow optimization, and adherence to quality, safety, and OEM standards.Customer service and stakeholder management abilities, including handling escalations, communicating technical information clearly, and building long-term client relationships.Analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.Familiarity with maintenance planning tools, service reporting, and performance metrics, preferably within an automotive or industrial service setting.Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Refrigeration/HVAC Technology, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.Experience leading diverse technical teams in a workshop or field service context, with a focus on coaching, training, and safety culture.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility to visit customer locations and operational sites as required.Strong English communication skills; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages
