Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentIndustry: Investment BankingAbout the OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Shariah Audit Manager with strong expertise in Islamic investment structures, multi-asset investment portfolios, Shariah governance and regulatory compliance.This is a specialist opportunity for a professional with practical experience in Shariah auditing, particularly within complex Islamic investment environments involving multiple asset classes and financial structures.Key Experience & Technical RequirementsThe ideal candidate will bring experience and knowledge across the following areas:Multi-Asset Investment Portfolios: Exposure to Sukuk, Public Equities, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Structured Funds and Money Market instruments.Shariah Governance & Audit: Understanding of Shariah governance frameworks, audit methodologies, compliance monitoring and internal control mechanisms.Public Equities: Experience implementing, reviewing and monitoring Shariah screening criteria for publicly listed equities.Investment Sukuk: Practical experience conducting structural audits of investment Sukuk and reviewing complex Sukuk arrangements.Islamic Financial Contracts: Strong knowledge of Islamic finance contracts, particularly Murabaha, Mudarabah, Investment Wakalah and Service Wakalah.Shariah Risk & Compliance: Experience conducting Shariah risk assessments, identifying compliance gaps, recommending corrective actions and strengthening governance frameworks.Audit Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Ability to prepare comprehensive audit reports and engage effectively with investment teams, senior management and Shariah governance committees.Relevant Industry ExperienceExperience gained within the following environments would be particularly relevant:Islamic Investment BanksAsset Management CompaniesInvestment Management Firms and Investment HousesPrivate Equity and Venture Capital FirmsSpecialist Shariah Advisory and Audit FirmsCandidates with practical exposure to multi-asset investment portfolios, investment Sukuk structures and complex Islamic financial arrangements will be particularly well aligned with this opportunity.
