Software / Computer Science Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryWe are looking for a Software / Computer Science Engineer to design, develop, test, and support software applications and technology solutions.The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in computer science, programming, problem-solving, and software development principles, with the ability to work closely with technical and business teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.Work with databases, APIs, integrations, and backend/frontend systems as required.Support system enhancements, upgrades, and performance improvements.Collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams.Maintain technical documentation and development records.Follow software development standards, security practices, and coding guidelines.Support continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, Information Technology, or related field.Good knowledge of programming and software development concepts.Experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, C++, or similar.Understanding of databases, SQL, APIs, and system integrations.Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.Familiarity with Git or other version-control tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, Agile/Scrum, or CI/CD will be an advantage.Key SkillsSoftware Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, Application Development, Programming, Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, SQL, Database Management, REST APIs, API Integration, Git, Debugging, Testing, SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Cloud Computing, CI/CD, DevOps, System Integration, Problem Solving, Technical Documentation.
