Staff Accountant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.ResponsibilitiesReconcile balance sheet accounts, while ensuring that items are cleared in a timely mannerPrepare daily and monthly journal entriesPerform month-end expense analysis, loan fee and charge-off reportsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activitiesPrepare monthly regulatory reportsAssist with coding and processing accounts payableMaintain accurate documentation and accounting recordsParticipate in process improvements and internal control enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance3+ years' experience in accountingProficient in Microsoft Excel
