Supplier Development & Cost Optimization Manager

Job Title- Supplier Development & Cost Optimization ManagerExperience: 8-15 Years

Location: ManesarWork Mode- Work from Office, 5 Days a week ( 8 am to 5 PM)Role SummaryLead supplier development and cost reduction initiatives by driving manufacturing excellence, supplier capability improvement, and cost optimization.

Work closely with suppliers, procurement, quality, and engineering teams to enhance supplier competitiveness in quality, delivery, cost, and technology.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive Cost-Down (CD), VE/VA, productivity, yield, and process improvement projects.Conduct manufacturing cost analysis and establish target costs from drawings/specifications.Assess supplier manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.Lead supplier capability development and shop-floor improvement activities.Implement quality tools such as PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and CTQ.Develop supplier improvement roadmaps and monitor progress.Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders for supplier development initiatives.Must HaveStrong knowledge of manufacturing technologies (Machining, Molding, Assembly, Electronics Manufacturing, etc.).Expertise in process-wise costing, cost breakdown, yield, and productivity analysis.Hands-on experience in supplier development and factory improvement projects.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Business-level English communication.PreferredExperience in Procurement, Supplier Quality, Industrial Engineering, or VE/VA.Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, 7QC tools, and Lean Manufacturing.Understanding of the Indian supplier ecosystem and manufacturing landscape.Ideal Background: Supplier Development Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Cost Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or Procurement Engineer from Automotive, Electronics, or Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
