The Teacher Assistant will support the English teacher in planning and delivering lessons, preparing teaching materials, and reinforcing key concepts during and after class. Responsibilities include assisting with classroom management, guiding individual and small group work, supporting reading, writing, and language activities, and helping students with assignments and projects. The role involves monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining classroom records as directed, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment. The Teacher Assistant will also help organize examinations, co-curricular activities, and parent communication as required by the teaching team and school policies.Qualifications Ability to effectively support classroom instruction, including Assistant Teaching and Education skills.Strong Communication skills for interaction with students, educators, and families.Comfort working with adolescents and a demonstrated aptitude for Working With . cross-disciplinary tasks when needed.Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in English as the major paper with a full time B.Ed.Familiarity with ICSE curriculum and assessment practices for High School English is preferred.Ability to maintain an organized, safe, and respectful classroom environment and collaborate within a school team.High Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial.
