With a portfolio exceeding AED 15 billion across Dubai’s most prestigious developments, Binghatti continues to transform the city’s skyline and set new standards for innovation and excellence in real estate.Job OverviewThe Team Leader – Mobile Development leads Binghatti's mobile engineering team and is accountable for the architecture, quality and delivery of the company's iOS and Android applications, including the flagship Binghatti Sphere consumer platform and the Binghatti Matrix sales and CRM app. The role combines hands-on Flutter development with people leadership, owning engineering standards, the release pipeline, and the secure integration of payments, digital identity and enterprise systems, while working closely with business stakeholders to turn requirements into reliable, customer-facing products.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and DeliveryLead, mentor and manage the mobile engineering team; set priorities, allocate work, and conduct performance reviews and development planning.Plan and run Agile sprint delivery, provide technical estimates, and track progress against the product roadmap and business commitments.Participate in recruiting and onboarding engineers and build technical capability and succession within the team.Mobile Architecture and Engineering StandardsOwn the architecture of Binghatti's mobile applications: a modular, feature-first Flutter codebase with defined state management, networking layers, and separated development, staging and production environments.Define and enforce coding standards, code review practices and reusable components to ensure maintainable, high-quality code.Remain hands-on in building complex features and resolving critical technical issues.Payments, Identity and Systems IntegrationOwn secure in-app payment integrations with the company's payment providers (currently Adyen, Checkout.com, TotalPay and Apple Pay) and the digital onboarding and identity/KYC flows.Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, CRM, ERP and internal platforms in coordination with Group Applications and backend teams.Ensure applications comply with information security, data protection and payment security requirements for customer financial and personal data.Quality, Release and Production OperationsOwn the mobile release pipeline and CI/CD, including Apple App Store and Google Play submissions, versioning, store compliance and staged rollouts.Partner with Quality Assurance on test strategy, automated testing and release sign-off.Monitor live applications through analytics, crash reporting and performance tooling; lead incident resolution and continuous improvement.Deliver fully bilingual English and Arabic experiences with complete right-to-left (RTL) support.Stakeholder and Cross-Functional CollaborationWork directly with business stakeholders and product owners to translate operational requirements into prioritised, shipped features.Collaborate with Creative & Experience to turn UI/UX designs into accessible, high-quality interfaces.Maintain technical documentation, architecture records and knowledge transfer to reduce key-person dependency.Other Tasks and AccountabilitiesPerform additional tasks relevant to the role / area of expertise as requested by management to achieve the objectives and commitments of the department.Act in full compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality and environmental Integrated Management System to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.Position RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Work Experience: 7+ years of mobile application development, including at least 2 years leading a mobile engineering team, with a track record of taking multiple applications from build to live release on the App Store and Google Play.Preferred: Experience in real estate, proptech or fintech products; Agile or software project management certification.Skills/Behaviour CompetenciesCore CompetenciesTeam leadership, coaching and people developmentStakeholder management and clear communication with business and technical audiencesAnalytical thinking and structured problem solvingOwnership and accountability for delivery qualityAdaptability and continuous learningExpert in Flutter and Dart, with working knowledge of native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)Mobile architecture and state management (e.g. BLoC), modular codebases and RESTful API integrationPayment gateway and identity/KYC integration in regulated, customer-facing appsCI/CD for mobile, Git, JIRA, and Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging), deep linkingLocalisation including Arabic RTL, mobile security standards and app store guidelinesWhy Work for UsAt Binghatti, we don’t just build properties – we build legacies.
