Position - Technical Supervisor (AVLX)Duration - 18-Dec-26 till 1-Jan-27Location - Ras Al KhaimahJob OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Technical Supervisor – AVLX to oversee the technical setup, installation, testing, and operation of audiovisual, lighting, and event infrastructure for major sports events. The role involves supervising technical teams, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring all technical systems are delivered safely, efficiently, and according to event requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the installation, setup, testing, and dismantling of AV, lighting, and technical infrastructure at event venues.Coordinate with technical managers, production teams, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth event delivery.Oversee technical equipment, including audiovisual systems, LED screens, lighting, cabling, and related infrastructure.Manage onsite technicians and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed according to schedules and technical specifications.Conduct equipment checks, system testing, troubleshooting, and technical rehearsals before event operations.Ensure all technical installations comply with venue regulations, safety standards, and event requirements.Monitor technical operations during live events and resolve issues promptly.Maintain equipment inventories, technical documentation, installation schedules, and daily progress reports.Coordinate technical requirements, access schedules, and operational plans with relevant stakeholders.Support the safe and timely execution of event setup, live operations, and dismantling.Requirements3+ years of experience in technical supervision, AV, lighting, or live event production.Previous experience working in sports events, stadiums, arenas, or large-scale live events.Strong knowledge of AV systems, lighting equipment, LED screens, cabling, and technical installations.Experience supervising technical crews, technicians, and subcontractors.Ability to read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and installation plans.Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage tight event timelines.Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and extended hours during event periods.Good communication skills and a hands-on approach to onsite operations.
