Dublin (Hybrid) | Up to €84,000 + BenefitsWe're seeking an experienced Technology Operations Lead to join a well-established organisation and take ownership of a team supporting critical technology platforms and services.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technology leader to combine people management, service delivery and operational excellence while driving continuous improvement across a complex technology environment.The OpportunityAs Technology Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the stability and performance of business-critical systems, and driving service improvements across the technology function.Working closely with stakeholders, technical teams and external partners, you'll play a key role in enhancing operational processes, improving service delivery and supporting the successful implementation of technology initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor and develop a high-performing technology operations team.Drive operational excellence across a range of business-critical systems and services.Oversee incident, problem and change management activities.Ensure systems remain reliable, resilient and aligned with business requirements.Support technology upgrades, enhancements and strategic initiatives.Manage operational risk, service performance and continuous improvement programmes.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.Develop and maintain operational processes, documentation and reporting.Support the successful transition of projects into business-as-usual support.Promote best practice across service management and technology operations.About You8+ years' experience within Technology Operations, IT Operations, Service Delivery or a related area.Previous experience leading technical or operational support teams.Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices.Experience managing incidents, problems, changes and service performance.Proven ability to deliver operational improvements and service enhancements.Experience working with third-party vendors and technology partners.Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Desirable ExperienceExperience working within complex or highly regulated environments.Knowledge of infrastructure, applications or operational technology environments.Experience delivering technology projects or transformation initiatives.What's on Offer?Salary up to €84,000Hybrid working model (Dublin-based)Strong benefits packageExcellent career development opportunitiesOpportunity to lead an experienced team within a growing technology functionWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays Ireland is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment (Ireland) Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
