You will be compensated for your time.About the RoleWe are a Saudi solar technology startup building data-driven products for the renewable energy sector.We collect public electricity, renewable energy, and utility data from Saudi government and public-sector websites to power our analytics and AI solutions.ResponsibilitiesExtract data from government portals, dynamic web applications, interactive maps, APIs, and PDF reports.Clean, standardize, and normalize messy datasets (dates, units, categories, tariffs, and energy rates).Build reliable scraping pipelines that adapt to website layout changes and dynamic content.Deliver clean, structured datasets and maintainable, well-documented code.RequirementsStrong Python programming skills.Experience with Playwright, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar web scraping frameworks.Excellent knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, and Regular Expressions (Regex).Experience extracting data from PDFs using Camelot, Tabula, OCR, or similar tools.Familiarity with REST APIs and browser network inspection.Experience with SQL databases is a plus.Experience scraping Arabic websites or Saudi government portals is highly desirable.How to ApplyTo qualify for the paid assessment, please include:Your GitHub, portfolio, or relevant project links.A brief description (2–3 sentences) of the most challenging website or dataset you have successfully scraped and how you solved it.Your availability and expected hourly or project rate.
