Alternative Water Sourcing (AWS) Lead

Job Purpose:To oversee the engineering, procurement, construction and delivery of water-sourcing infrastructure for a major oil and gas development project.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all activities related to alternative water-sourcing facilities, from engineering through construction and handover.Oversee contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality, budget and schedule.Manage the construction of well pads, surface facilities, pipelines and associated electrical and instrumentation works.Coordinate with other project teams to ensure seamless integration with processing facilities, pipelines and related infrastructure.Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards and Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.Identify project risks, implement mitigation measures and promote cost-effective solutions.Manage contractor selection, tendering activities and contract execution.Support local content initiatives, including the recruitment and training of local personnel.Lead and coordinate project team members to ensure successful project delivery.Qualifications and Experience:Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas project execution, construction or infrastructure development.Strong experience in civil works, well pads, pipelines and electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works.Proven experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.Good knowledge of HDPE pipelines, project interfaces and international contractor management.Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and project management skills.Fluent in English; Arabic language skills would be an advantage.
