Area Manager

The Area Manager is responsible for the overall commercial and operational performance of multiple stores. The role is accountable for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, customer experience, inventory productivity, and people performance across the assigned stores.The Area Manager will lead and develop Store Managers, ensure consistent execution of brand standards, identify business improvement opportunities, and translate company strategy into measurable store-level results. The role requires a highly commercial, data-driven, and hands-on leader who can effectively manage multiple locations and build high-performing teams in a fast-paced retail environment.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related discipline.Relevant professional qualifications in retail or business management will be an advantage.Experience6–10 years of progressive experience in retail operations, with a minimum of 3 years in an Area Manager, Regional Manager, or equivalent multi-store leadership role.Proven experience managing multiple stores, locations, and Store Managers.Strong track record of achieving sales, profitability, productivity, and operational KPIs.Experience in sports, outdoor, lifestyle, adventure, or specialty retail is highly desirable.Experience in managing large and diverse retail teams.Experience in new store openings, store renovations, relocations, or expansion projects is an advantage.
