Assistant Financial ControllerAED 18,000 per month plus medical & air ticketOur client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, fully qualified finance professional to join a growing regional finance function as Assistant Financial Controller. This is a broad regional multi entity role requiring strong technical accounting expertise, commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end and year-end closing, management accounts and regional financial reportingAnalyse financial performance, investigate variances and provide meaningful commercial insightOversee balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, provisions, prepayments and intercompany balancesCoordinate external and internal audits, ensuring timely completion of audit requirements and statutory filingsMonitor financial controls across payroll, billing, payments and operational expenditureIdentify control weaknesses, financial risks and opportunities for process improvementSupport regional tax compliance, including VAT, Corporate Tax and withholding taxAssist with annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and cash flow managementPartner with Regional Directors and Country Managers, providing financial analysis and supporting commercial decision-makingEnsure compliance with IFRS, Group accounting policies and local regulatory requirements

Requirements

7+ years' experience in accounting, financial control or auditFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA or CIMA)Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls and accrual accountingProven experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliationsExperience managing external audits and statutory reportingGood understanding of payroll, billing and regional tax requirementsAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics 365Previous experience within a multinational or multi-entity environment is highly advantageousConfident engaging with senior stakeholders, auditors and external advisersCommercially minded, analytical and solutions-focusedComfortable challenging existing processes and driving improvementsAble to manage competing priorities independently across multiple countries
