This position supports the Finance Manager in overseeing daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, tracking project costs, and ensuring accurate allocation of expenses for interior design and fit-out projects. The Assistant Manager Finance will assist with cash flow management, payroll coordination, and compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements. Additional responsibilities include supporting internal and external audits, improving financial processes and controls, and providing timely financial reports and analysis to management for decision-making.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong core finance and accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.Candidates should possess skills in financial analysis and planning, such as variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and project profitability assessment.Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling tools.Candidates should possess knowledge of UAE financial regulations, tax compliance, and standard auditing practices.Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a project-driven environment.Candidates should possess clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Candidates should possess collaborative working skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with project, operations, and procurement teams.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.Prior experience in interior design, construction, fit-out, or project-based industries in the UAE is highly beneficial.
