With a history of more than 25 years, our Competition and EU Law practice has extensive experience advising on the application and enforcement of Bulgarian and EU law before Bulgarian and EU institutions and tribunals.Position OverviewAs an Associate at DGKV, you will embark on an exciting journey involving the application and enforcement of Bulgarian and EU law, with a strong focus on competition/antitrust, foreign investment, information technology, and the digital economy, as well as other innovative and fast-developing sectors.This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to our clients' success. Your responsibilities will include:Assisting senior lawyers in researching and analyzing domestic and international transactions, litigation, and regulatory matters involving the application of EU law.Advising and representing clients before Bulgarian and EU institutions and tribunals.Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda related to the application of Bulgarian and EU law, with a focus on competition, foreign investment, information technology, and the digital economy.Drafting legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.Participating in client meetings and case discussions.Staying informed about legal developments and industry trends in EU law and related fields.Collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal support in transactional, litigation, and compliance matters.QualificationsWe are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:Excellent legal education, with a law degree qualifying the candidate to practice law in Bulgaria.Proficiency in English.Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.A strong commitment to developing a career in business law and, where applicable, pursuing admission to the Bulgarian Bar.What We OfferAt DGKV, we believe in investing in the growth and development of our team members.
