Tailor my CV for this job — freeWe are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager who can open new markets, build strong client relationships, generate quality business, and consistently convert opportunities into profitable growth.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve new business and renewal targets.
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across various lines of insurance.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate and individual clients.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, partnerships, and other channels.
- Understand clients’ insurance requirements and provide suitable and competitive insurance solutions.
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of opportunities.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing client portfolios.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular sales and pipeline reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable UAE insurance regulations.
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, retention, and profitability targets.Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or business development.
- Strong knowledge of the UAE insurance market and insurance products.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused.
