Role Description The Director at Le labo des CIP will lead the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the organization in an on-site capacity based in Bengaluru. This full-time role includes setting long-term goals, developing and implementing programs, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values. The Director will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets and resources, and establish governance processes to support sustainable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising staff, driving stakeholder engagement, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. The Director will also represent the organization in external forums, build partnerships, and provide regular reports to the board or leadership committee.Qualifications Demonstrated leadership and people-management skills, including the ability to guide diverse teams, mentor staff, and foster an inclusive, collaborative work environment.Strong strategic planning and organizational skills, with experience in setting priorities, managing complex projects, and aligning operations with long-term objectives.Proficiency in financial management and budgeting, including resource allocation, cost control, and performance tracking to support organizational sustainability.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and build relationships with partners, clients, and governing bodies.Experience in governance, policy implementation, and compliance, with a focus on ethical practices and risk management.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Prior experience in a senior leadership or director-level role, ideally within research, innovation, education, or related sectors.Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and commit to a full-time schedule.
