Chief Accountant

We're Hiring | Chief Accountant📍 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia🏢 Department: FinanceWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support financial reporting, closing activities, and compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee General Ledger (GL) activities and account reconciliations.Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing.Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and accounting adjustments.Ensure accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Support internal and external audits and strengthen accounting controls.Investigate accounting discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.Strong experience in General Ledger, account reconciliation, and financial closing.Proficiency in ERP accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.Good understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.Experience in multi-entity or diversified business environments is preferred.SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.t
