Company Description The Combat Diver Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and preserving the legacy of the Combat Diver community. The foundation focuses on education, outreach, and commemoration efforts that highlight the history, contributions, and sacrifices of Combat Divers. It supports initiatives that engage veterans, active-duty personnel, families, and the broader public through programs, events, and storytelling. The organization is mission-driven, values integrity and service, and seeks leaders who are passionate about supporting the military community and safeguarding its heritage.Role Description The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the Combat Diver Foundation’s strategic direction, operations, and impact. The CEO will develop and execute the organization’s strategic plan, oversee programs and initiatives, and ensure alignment with the foundation’s mission and values. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing staff and volunteers, leading fundraising and donor relations, cultivating partnerships with stakeholders, and overseeing communications and public outreach. The CEO will manage budgets and financial performance, ensure regulatory and governance compliance, and work closely with the Board of Directors on organizational growth and sustainability. This role also involves representing the foundation at virtual and in-person events, serving as the primary spokesperson, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

The CEO is primarily responsible for leadership and management of all operational and administrative functions of the Combat Diver Foundation Inc.; including but not limited to:Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to:Fundraising Managing the CDF StoreHuman ResourcesManaging ProgramsMediaManaging ITBudgetingManaging donations Qualifications:The ideal candidate is someone with military non-profit management experience, a solid record of fundraising success, and a sterling reputation in legal, moral, and ethical terms. The CEO will receive a hybrid compensation package equal to a fixed monthly salary plus an additional commission of 5% on net fundraising proceeds.The CEO will have an initial term of one year.
