Chief Operating Officer (Insurance Experience)

EgyBell is hiring a Chief Operating Officer for a leading insurance company.Overview:Responsible for overseeing the company’s ongoing operations and procedures within the life insurance business. Ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and alignment with strategic objectives. Acts as a key member of the executive leadership team, driving efficiency, profitability and scalable growth.

Responsibilities

Operational LeadershipLead and manage daily operations across underwriting, claims, policy administration.Ensure operational processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals.Strategy ExecutionTranslate the company strategy into actionable operational plans.Partner with the management and executive team to drive business growth and transformation initiatives.Support expansion plans, new product launches, and market penetration strategies.Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure full compliance with insurance regulations and governance frameworks.Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk mitigation strategies.Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to local law.Human Resources OversightOversee the full HR function including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation & benefits, and the employee’s engagement.MarketingOversee marketing strategy including brand positioning, customer acquisition, and campaigns.Monitor ROI on marketing investments and optimize performance.Guide digital marketing and customer engagement strategies.Administration & Facility ManagementSupervise administrative operations including facilities, procurement, and general services.Ensure cost efficiency and effective resource utilization.Quality & Project Oversee all strategic and operational projects across the organization.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope.Drive transformation initiatives (Digital, operational, Customer experience).Cross-Functional IntegrationEnsure strong alignment and collaboration across all support and operational functions.Requirments: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering or related field.15+ years of experience. (insurance experience preferred).Minimum 7+years in senior leadership.Proficient English, both spoken and written.Proficiency in MS Office.Strong knowledge of underwriting, & claims.Experience in regulatory environments and compliance.Strong leadership and stakeholder management.Strategic thinking and execution.Operational excellence and process optimization.Risk management and governance.Excellent communication and decision-making skills.High sense of judgment, accuracy, scrutiny and analysis.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Digital transportation mindset.
