The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil engineering plans for infrastructure and site development projects, ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards. Daily activities include preparing drawings and specifications, performing calculations, coordinating stormwater management solutions, and supporting project planning and scheduling. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, liaising with contractors and authorities, monitoring construction progress, conducting site inspections, and preparing technical reports and documentation to support project delivery.Qualifications Civil Engineering fundamentals: strong knowledge of Civil Engineering and practical experience working as a Civil Engineer on infrastructure or land development projects.Design and technical competencies: proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including layout design, grading plans, and utility coordination.Planning and project coordination: experience in Planning project phases, resources, and timelines, with the ability to coordinate across internal teams and external stakeholders.Stormwater and drainage expertise: hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related hydraulic calculations.Education: bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline; professional registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.Software skills: familiarity with civil design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar), and basic proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.Regulatory and standards knowledge: understanding of local UAE regulations, international engineering standards, and construction best practices.Professional capabilities: strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and effectively on active construction sites.
