Computer Aided Design Specialist

CAD Specialist (Jewelry) On-site | Full-time | Ahmedabad, IndiaABOUT DIAMODiamo is a lab-grown diamond jewelry brand selling directly to customers in the US. Every piece is made to order in India and reaches the customer in about 25 days. We are candid about cost and confident in craft, and we are a small team where each person owns real work.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are hiring a CAD Designer to work from our Ahmedabad office. Most of your time goes to 3D modeling: turning custom customer briefs and our own new collection ideas into clean, production-ready files. The rest goes to photographing finished pieces for our website, listings, and social channels.You will work closely with the founder and our concierge team, and your files go straight to the people who make the jewelry. What you build is what gets made.WHAT YOU WILL DOCAD design:

• Build 3D models for custom orders and new collection pieces from reference images, sketches, and written briefs.
• Model complex designs accurately, including halos, clusters, pave, bezels, and multi-stone settings.
• Prepare files that are ready for production: correct stone seats, prong and setting geometry, wall thickness, and ring sizing.
• Create clear renders for customer approval and turn around revisions quickly.
• Follow our work orders so the manufacturing team gets the dimensions, metal, and stone details they need.
• Flag problems early when a design has cost, strength, or wearability issues, and suggest a fix.
• Keep a tidy, versioned library of every CAD file.Product photography:
• Photograph finished jewelry on clean backgrounds and in detail and close-up shots that show the stones and metalwork honestly.WHAT YOU BRING
• Strong working skill in jewelry CAD softwares.
• A portfolio that shows complex jewelry CAD work, not only simple rings.
• Working knowledge of jewelry manufacturing: casting, stone setting, tolerances, and what can actually be made.
• Familiarity with diamond shapes, cuts, and common setting styles.
• Basic product photography skills: lighting, macro and close-up shots.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.Helpful, not required:
• Experience with rendering tools.
• Experience with custom bridal or engagement jewelry.
