We're scaling our lighting manufacturing and building two new businesses from scratch, Wires & Cables and Switches.New businesses need cost and margin numbers they can trust from day one. We're looking for three Cost Accountants who will build those numbers, keep them honest, and help the people running these businesses act on them.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━👥 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦, 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦🔌 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 & 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀🔘 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀💡 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴Each role owns business and product controlling for one business unit. Experience in a similar category (cables, wiring devices, lighting or consumer electricals) will be a strong advantage for that role but not necessarily a pre-requisite━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━🎯 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗘You'll own business and product controlling for your business unit end to end.You'll report to the Group Finance Controller and work directly with your BU head as their finance partner in decision-making. You'll also work every day with plant teams, procurement and sales.You'll be part of a team of three controllers working side by side, sharing costing standards, methods and learnings across the group.This is not a reporting role. You'll be the person who can explain why a SKU's margin moved, what the options are, and what we should do about it.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━📈 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥▸ 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟵𝟬 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀: Validated standard costs and BOM-based cost sheets live for every active SKU in your business▸ 𝗕𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟲: A monthly product-level P&L and margin bridge that your BU head uses in reviews, and the first round of plant-level audits completed, with action points closed▸ 𝗕𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟭𝟮: A working variance loop where every material, yield and conversion variance has an owner and a fix, and costing drives pricing, sourcing and investment decisions━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━🛠️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗨 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱

• Act as the finance partner to your BU head
• Support decisions on pricing, product mix, sourcing, capacity and channel strategy with clear numbers and scenario analysis
• Bring the margin story to monthly business reviews: what moved, why, and what to do next
• Challenge assumptions constructively and make sure decisions are grounded in cost and profitability data𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴
• Build and maintain standard costs, BOMs and cost sheets for every SKU
• Analyse variances in material price, usage, conversion and overhead absorption, and follow through with plant and procurement teams until each one is fixed
• Track commodity exposure on copper, aluminium, PVC, polycarbonate and electronic components, and show how it affects margins and pricing
• Support new launches with should-cost models, target costing and pricing inputs
• Support make-vs-buy and OEM/job-work evaluations𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴
• Prepare monthly P&L reviews: actual vs budget, and contribution by product, channel and region
• Support the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts and capex evaluations
• Track working capital, inventory health, and slow-moving and obsolete stock
• Maintain KPI dashboards for business and leadership reviews𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘀, 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲
• Manage cost audit and cost records compliance under the Companies Act, and act as the point of contact with cost auditors
• Plan and conduct plant-level audits covering inventory, consumption, yield and scrap, process controls, and job-work reconciliations
• Strengthen inventory valuation, costing processes and plant-level controls based on audit findings
• Build costing discipline into the ERP and automate recurring MIS━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━✅ 𝗬𝗢𝗨'𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗜𝗙 𝗬𝗢𝗨
• Are a qualified Cost Accountant (CMA/CWA) with at least 4–5 years of post-qualification experience in costing and business controlling in manufacturing, ideally electricals, FMEG, cables or consumer durables will be an added bonus.
• Have hands-on experience with cost audits (statutory cost audit, cost records and CRA forms) and with plant-level audits (physical verification, consumption and yield audits, and internal control reviews)
• Have worked directly with BU or plant heads as a finance partner, supporting real business decisions, not just producing reports
• Know standard costing, BOM costing and variance analysis well enough to explain them on the shop floor, not just in a spreadsheet
• Work hands-on in an ERP (SAP CO/FICO preferred) and in advanced Excel; Power BI is a plus
• Are comfortable questioning a plant team on yields and presenting options to your BU head with equal clarity
