Cybersecurity Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for cybersecurity operations, technical support and infrastructure maintenance. This role combines hands-on technical knowledge with people management, ensuring security technologies remain reliable, effective and aligned with operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, overseeing daily activities, workload allocation and staff development.Oversee the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of cybersecurity technologies to ensure system availability and performance.Coordinate the investigation and resolution of technical issues, working with internal teams and external vendors where necessary.Manage vulnerability remediation, security patching and configuration reviews to maintain a secure operating environment.Review operational processes and implement improvements to enhance service quality and system reliability.Maintain technical documentation, operational reports and records to support internal reviews and compliance requirements.RequirementsAt least 8 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, IT security operations or security infrastructure.Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, supervise and develop a team of engineers.Hands-on knowledge of network security, endpoint protection and Identity and Access Management (IAM).Experience in security operations, system maintenance, troubleshooting and vulnerability management.Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.Knowledge of container security and cryptographic key management is an added advantage.
