Development Engineer

EMEA Recruitment is partnering with an international engineering organization seeking a Development Engineer to join its growing R&D team in the Netherlands.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer with a background in electrical engineering, electronics, power electronics or mechatronics to contribute to the development of innovative products and technologies, from initial concept through to prototype testing and validation.The position offers a strong balance of technical design, practical engineering and problem-solving, making it particularly suited to someone who enjoys understanding how things work, developing new solutions and seeing their designs brought to life.Key Responsibilities of the Development Engineer:Develop electrical and electronic designs, schematics and technical specificationsSupport new product development from concept through to prototyping and testingConduct technical testing, troubleshooting and validation activitiesCollaborate with internal engineering teams and external suppliersEnsure designs meet relevant technical, quality and safety standardsContribute to continuous improvement and product innovationThe Ideal Candidate:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a related disciplineIdeally 3–5 years' experience in product development or R&DKnowledge of electrical/electronic systems, ideally including power electronics or electric drivesExperience with electrical schematics, CAD tools and technical documentationA practical, hands-on approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFluent English; knowledge of MATLAB or CAN protocols would be advantageousIf you are interested in applying for this Development Engineer role, please register your interest using the link below.
