Director of Financial Reporting

We're partnering with a leading global asset servicing firm to appoint a Director of Financial Reporting to their Dublin team. This is a senior leadership role where you'll run a fund reporting function through a team of managers, own senior auditor and client relationships, and present directly to fund Boards.What you'll be doingSetting priorities for and overseeing multiple teams preparing and reviewing financial statements for a portfolio of clients and fundsLeading the function primarily through subordinate managers, owning area goals, talent management and team performanceGuiding the processes that ensure disclosures are complete and accurateResolving complex issues escalated by your teamsManaging relationships with senior auditors and clients so reporting meets expectations and accurately reflects fund performanceEnsuring all reporting meets corporate and regulatory standardsLeading analysis of changes to accounting and disclosure standards and driving the process changes needed to stay compliantPresenting fund reports to Boards of Directors, communicating complex concepts clearly and supporting strong governanceRecruiting, motivating and developing your people so the team performs at its bestWhat you'll bring15+ years' experience managing teams of professional staff, ideally within a fund administrator or a Big 4 firm with investment funds exposureStrong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAPA solid understanding of investment fund structures, including mutual funds and hedge fundsA professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is an advantage, along with a degree in Accounting or equivalent experienceThe presence and communication skills to engage confidently at Board levelWhat's on offerA highly competitive package with strong benefits, wellbeing support, generous paid leave (including volunteer days) and excellent long-term career development within a global organisation known for innovation and investment in its people.Interested?
