This role manages daily production, supply chain, inventory control, and distribution to ensure consistent product quality and timely delivery. The Director of Operations leads and mentors cross-functional teams, implements efficient processes, and monitors performance metrics for continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing budgets, optimizing resource allocation, collaborating with sales and customer service teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and coordination with senior management to support strategic growth.QualificationsStrong Operations Management skills, including production oversight, process optimization, and supply chain coordination.Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance, and drive evidence-based decisions.Team Management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams.Budgeting capabilities for managing operational costs, forecasting, and financial planning.Customer Service focus, ensuring high service standards and effective issue resolution.Experience in food manufacturing, pet food, or related consumer goods operations is highly beneficial.Knowledge of quality assurance, safety regulations, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
