About the jobWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Exports & Supply Executive to manage day-to-day logistics operations, import and export coordination, stock monitoring, quality control, and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in logistics operations and be capable of coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers, warehouse teams, and internal departments. This role is based at our Katubedda head office with oversight responsibilities extending to our branch office operations. ending to our branch office operations.What You'll Be Responsible For Logistics & Delivery Management Coordinate and oversee day-to-day logistics activities to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods. Plan and monitor deliveries, shipments, and transportation arrangements. Follow up with relevant parties to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines. Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners. Identify and resolve delays or issues affecting deliveries and shipments. Import & Export OperationsImport & Export Operations Coordinate import and export shipments from documentation to final delivery. Prepare, verify, and maintain relevant shipping and import/export documentation. Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, suppliers, and other relevant parties. Track shipment status and provide timely updates to relevant internal teams. Ensure shipments comply with required procedures and documentation requirements. Stock & Inventory Monitoring Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of required items within the required timelines.Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams regarding stock movements and requirements.Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock. Conduct or coordinate regular stock checks and reconcile physical stock with system records. Highlight stock shortages, excess stock, discrepancies, and potential delays to management.Quality Control (QC)Inspect incoming goods and verify quantity, condition, specifications, and quality against purchase orders or required standards. Coordinate quality checks before goods are dispatched to customers or other locations. Identify damaged, defective, incorrect, or non-conforming items and coordinate corrective action.Maintain proper records of QC inspections, discrepancies, and corrective actions. Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality-related issues. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate closely with Procurement, Sales, Finance, Warehouse, and other relevant departments.Maintain accurate logistics, shipment, stock, and QC records. Prepare regular updates/reports on shipments, stock status, deliveries, and outstanding issues. Follow up proactively on pending orders, shipments, and deliveries. Support management in improving logistics processes, reducing delays, and maintaining operational efficiency.Who We're Looking For Experience & Skills 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Practical knowledge of import/export and logistics processes. Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, clearing agents, suppliers, transporters, and warehouses. Basic understanding of quality control and goods inspection procedures. Experience in stock/inventory monitoring and reconciliation. Strong follow-up and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously. Good attention to detail and documentation skills. Good communication and negotiation skills.
